Day 01: Arrival in Arusha City

Upon arrival at JRO/ARK Airport, you will be met by our company representative, who will drive you to Arusha City. Relax and prepare for the thrilling adventure ahead at Africa Safari Arusha Lodge. Arusha is a bustling city in Northern Tanzania, an essential hub for safari enthusiasts. Many travelers pass through here before embarking on exciting safaris and other unforgettable experiences. Get ready for the journey of a lifetime!

Day 02: Drive from Arusha City to Central Serengeti National Park

Embark on your Serengeti safari at 8 am with a hotel pick-up in Arusha. The 240 km drive takes 5 hrs, leading you to the breathtaking endless plains of Serengeti, merging with the sky on the horizon. Covering 14,763 sq km, it astounds with the “Big 5” – elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, and leopard. The Impala’s beauty is an added delight in this wildlife-rich ecosystem. Serengeti is famed for its lions and leopards.

Seronera, the central Serengeti, boasts abundant wildlife, drawn to the valuable Seronera River. Spot thriving lion prides and impressive Serengeti “Kopjes,” massive granite boulders sheltering diverse flora and fauna. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the day-long game drive. The eventful day concludes with a hearty dinner and a restful night at Africa Safari Serengeti Ikoma. Unforgettable moments wait amidst Africa’s magnificent wilderness.

Day 03: Game viewing from Central Serengeti to North Serengeti National Park

In this day, you will start the day with an early breakfast, preparing ourselves for an exciting day of exploration and adventure. Our journey begins with a picturesque drive towards the Serengeti. En route, we’ll pass through mist-covered rainforests in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Here, you might be fortunate enough to catch glimpses of cape buffalo, baboons, elephants, and leopards hidden amidst the dense undergrowth. The drive to the Serengeti park gates takes around four hours.
After a delicious lunch at the picnic area in Serengeti National Park, we’ll embark on an exploration of the renowned Serengeti itself. Prepare to be awestruck by the iconic savannah landscape of Africa and the incredible abundance of wildlife that roams these grassy plains.

Late evening, you’ll conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at Africa Safari Maasai Boma (Maasai Safari Hut), with full board included.

Day 04: Full-day game viewing in North Serengeti

Start your day with a delightful breakfast and be ready to explore by 8 am. From mid-June to September, witness the mesmerizing migration at the Mara River, a dramatic and challenging crossing for wildebeests. Marvel at nature’s raw power as they face the torrential flow and lurking crocodiles. Venture to the Lobo valley for diverse landscapes and abundant big cat game. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the wilderness during the full-day game drive. End your day with a delectable dinner and a comfortable stay at Africa Safari Maasai Boma (Bungalow). Unforgettable experiences wait in this untamed paradise.

Day 05: Game viewing from North to Central Serengeti

 Embark on your Serengeti adventure at 8 am after a hearty breakfast. Travel through diverse landscapes, encountering mild game sightings along the way. From the Mara River valley, traverse hills, the Lobo area, and woodlands before reaching Seronera, a rich wildlife habitat with the Seronera River as a vital water source. Look out for thriving lion prides and enjoy a delightful picnic lunch amidst the wilderness. End the day with a fulfilling dinner at Kon Tiki Serengeti Camp. Embrace the wonders of Serengeti and cherish remarkable encounters on this unforgettable safari journey.

Day 06: Drive to from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After early morning breakfast, depart to Ngorongoro for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater while carrying lunch boxes. Keeping the camera ready is definitely recommended.

This park constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and is one of the Natural Wonders of Africa. There is the presence of about 30,000 large mammal’s resident all year round (such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos) and many varieties of birds (such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards). Be ready to see many animals here within a short time. After all these activities, you will be taken to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stays at Africa Safari Karatu Lodge.

Day 07: Drive to Lake Manyara National Park and Transfer Back to Arusha city / Kilimanjaro Airport

After breakfast, we depart from the Camp and head to Lake Manyara National Park. Spanning 127 square miles (329 km2), the park is renowned for its alkaline lake, covering 89 square miles (231 km2). While baboons are a prominent sight, the area also hosts a variety of wildlife including hippos, impalas, elephants, wildebeest, buffalo, warthogs, and giraffes. Keep an eye out for the famous tree-climbing lions that reside in the park. After a half-day game drive, we return to Arusha City for departure to home or to any other destination of your choice. As the incredible experience comes to an end and a treasure trove of cherished memories fills your heart, it is now time to bid farewell to your amazing team.
