Whether it is for a Zanzibar holiday, honeymoon, or some post-safari relaxation; whether you prefer the blissful privacy of a private island or the amenities of a larger hotel; and whatever your preferred activities (diving and snorkeling, eating, sleeping, playing tennis, reading on a lounger…), there are good options for every traveler.
Day by Day Itinerary – Zanzibar Beach Holiday
Day 1: Arrive in Zanzibar
On arrival in Zanzibar, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Mtoni Marine Hotel.
Overnight at Mtoni Marine hotel. (Dinner is at the client’s own discretion)
Day 2: Zanzibar Stone Town tour
After breakfast, you will commence the Stone Town tour. The 2-hour tour will take you to the most scenic parts of the Old Town. This is the Cultural heart of Zanzibar. Our guides are experienced and very well conversant with the rich history of the Island. The Old Town oozes magic and mystery and shafts and sharp light joust with deep shadows creating a fascinating world in the narrow streets.
Overnight and Breakfast, at Mtoni Marine hotel
UNESCO has recently declared Stone Town as one of the world’s historic cities, and it’s now a protected area in Zanzibar. The tour takes you to the former site of the slave market; the cathedral (Cathedral Church of Christ) built on its site in 1874, the Sultan’s palace, and more. Relax at leisure at the beach side.
Day 3: Zanzibar Spice Tour
After breakfast picks up from the hotel and transfers to Kizimbani Village for the Spice Tour.
For much of the year, the scent of cloves is carried in the breezes from the clove buds drying the sun on road reside mats. Spice Island as it is affectionately called has over forty of the most valuable tropical aromatic plants that were introduced over the last two centuries by the Oman Arabs. The spices are grown in the spice grades in the hills north of Stone Town. Our knowledgeable guides will take you through this fascinating tour. Spices can be tasted and even purchased. Later drive to the North East Coast for Check-in at Zamani Kempinski.
Day 4: Day on the beach
Spend the day enjoying the beaches of the East Coast and the Swahili way of living or at the resort’s swimming pool. Breakfast, Dinner, and overnight at Melia Zanzibar hotel.
Day 5: Walking in Jozani Forest, Zanzibar
After Breakfast, you will be picked up for visit to Jozani Forest – Half a day.
This forest is one of the last remaining sanctuaries in the world of the red colobus monkey. Wonderful photo opportunities and sightings of these rare creatures living in the forest reserves are possible on the pathways.
After lunch, transfer to Melia Zanzibar for overnight.
Day 6: Relax at the Melia Zanzibar.
Breakfast at the hotel Full day at leisure Overnight and Dinner at the hotel.
Day 7: Departure from Zanzibar
after breakfast checks out and transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your flight out of Zanzibar.
